Preview Day

A great day for a picnic in the pasture! We had probably almost as many family attend as potential buyers, but that's what makes it fun. Good times to remember.

It's A Family Thing...We're pulling all hands on deck to get ready for the Show Calf Preview tomorrow!

We got the last set of pictures done today. What a good feeling! The calves are really starting to blossom as they are taking off on the grain. Some of the early ones that we clipped are already hairing back up. We weighed them also and were pleasantly surprised. They range from 480 up to 800 lbs so they'll work at about any show there is. There are some nice calves to choose from.

Caught in the Action!

Sometimes it's fun to film those behind the scenes. It takes a lot of patience and sometimes just plain luck to get that perfect shot. The girls have started taking over the Social Media for us. Picture Day Again

Another round of pictures taken today. They have been weaned for 3 weeks now and getting about 6 lbs of grain/day. As soon as they hear the 4 wheeler pull in they are lined up at the fence. They have been getting more used to people walking through them and as we water them will come up and lick us at the trough. Overall a great bunch of calves and when you get in among them you appreciate them even more.
