The new tractor arrived at the place today. Cool Blue color and so many buttons...it's going to take a while to figure out this new toy!

Barker Cattle Kickback Contribution
We were pleased to donate a 1% kickback on every bull purchased in our 2013 bull sale from buyers in the Raft River School District to their local FFA Chapter. A check in the amount of $740 was presented tonight at their annual Zoetis Dinner & Producer meeting. Barker Cattle Co. was presented as Honorary Chapter members. Congratulations to Cami Schumann for the great program she is running there and we look forward to contributing again next year.

Bull Sale A Success!
Thanks to everyone who attended our Annual Bull & Heifer Production Sale. We appreciated the support and enjoyed getting to visit with the many new buyers that attended as well as our dedicated repeat customers. We want to say a special Thank you to all our family and friends who took the time away from their regular jobs to help us out on this day. We couldn't have done it without you!

Get ready, it's Sale Time!
A soggy day today, but the Ottley Crew were still getting things situated here at the Ranch so that we can move into town on Monday in preparation for Bull Sale Day on Tuesday. Heifers are almost done calving now, and it's nice to see all the babies running around in the field. The bull calves have finally caught up to the heifer #'s...that's a relief!

| Rescued! This baby decided to hitch a ride rather than trail up through the field. |

Bull Testing Day
Despite the wind that made our teeth chatter and tried to scatter our materials everywhere, we were able to get all the bulls tested today to get ready for Sale Day. Thanks to a good crew from Bear River Animal Clinic, Jeff Robison and boys, Robert Briggs, The Ottley Crew, and Barker Bunch we got through another big job safely and with good results.

Flooding!
We seem to be getting all our moisture at once. It rained all day yesterday, most of the night last night, and all morning long again today. Here's some different views of the water boiling in the creeks & out! Might need a canoe to get feed to the cows tonight.
